Hi! Welcome to our blog. We are a group of Temasek Polytechnic Year 3 students who are assisting Kim Seng Community Center Youth Executive Committee in organizing a fund-raising gala dinner entitled ‘Heart of Gold’. The event will take place on the 2nd of August 2008.


Here are our objectives:


1) To finance a book publication on Senior Citizen’s real life moral stories written by Outram Secondary School students. This book will be published in the last quarter of this year and will be distributed to all major secondary schools for educational purposes.


2) To Provide Public Assistance recipients a day of joy, fulfilling their dreams. These senior citizens Public Assistance recipients are from Kreta Ayer – Kim Seng Constituency. These 300 citizens rely on a monthly financial assistance of approximately $330 per month. We hope to use the excess fund remaining for the publication of the book to hold a memorable celebration for all of them.
